Two weeks ago, this horse ran commendably over a Happy Valley 1200m, breaking slowly and settling towards the rear. Maintaining a consistent pace throughout the race, he made gradual progress in the final stages, finishing two and a half lengths behind. A recent dirt trial over 1200m did not yield promising results with a weaker finishing kick, and the trainer-jockey combination hasn’t been particularly strong. However, having secured two victories at this distance previously and with respectable time figures, a placing is possible.
