On April 10th, a turf trial over 1200m at Conghua saw the horse finish weakly and drop back. Three weeks ago, it ran satisfactorily over 1800m on Sha Tin turf, settling in a good position tracking the leaders, accelerating in the middle stages and chasing through the final two sections. It wasn’t beaten far, losing by two and a half lengths, demonstrating a high level of form. A subsequent barrier trial didn't reveal any improvement. Dropping back in class for its next run, it will return to Happy Valley over 1800m with the best time figures among its competition group. If ridden from behind, it is expected to have the strongest finishing kick within the field. Overall assessment places it among the leading contenders in this race; trainer and jockey appear to be working well together, suggesting a good chance for another victory.
