Three weeks ago, this horse ran disappointingly over a Sha Tin 1200m, taking the lead but maintaining only an even pace throughout. Switching to Happy Valley over 1200m, it was his first attempt at this distance and proved unsuitable; he lacked a strong finishing kick with limited synergy between trainer and jockey. However, his time was respectable, and benefiting from a two-pound weight reduction this time warrants consideration.
