Horse analysis
On April 2nd (dirt trial 1200m: 1-1-1), the horse showed good speed and increased stamina. On March 24th (turf trial 1000m: 9-6-8) it had a moderate start, maintaining a steady pace throughout. On March 10th (dirt trial 1050m: 3-2-2) it tracked the leaders and finished second with a strong effort in the final section. A turf trial over 800m on February 24th saw it perform well both early and late, finishing unplaced. Three months ago, this horse ran disappointingly over a Happy Valley sprint distance, slow to jump and settling towards the rear, maintaining an even pace throughout with lackluster performance. Four trials have shown improvement. Another trial over 1200m at Happy Valley, its first attempt at this distance, requires carrying seven pounds more this time. The distance is unfavorable, and its time hasn't been impressive, posing a difficult scenario. It’s expected to settle towards the rear with insufficient finishing kick compared to rivals; trainer-jockey partnership isn't prominent. However, it has benefitted from thorough preparation before the race and may be considered an outsider."
