31/3 (Dirt trial 1200m: 1-1-1) Showed keenness to lead and maintained a smooth rhythm throughout. 14/3 (Happy Valley turf trial 1200m: 2-2-1) Engaged in a straight duel and won at the wire. In his last run over the Happy Valley 1200m in May, he performed excellently; despite a slow start and settling back, he maintained a steady tempo and made up considerable ground late to finish second, beaten only half a length. Following two recent trials, his form has improved. Stepping up in class and switching to Sha Tin turf over 1200m for the first time, conditions may not be ideal as he is untested at this distance and the jockey-trainer combination lacks established synergy. However, possessing the strongest finishing kick in this grade along with respectable time figures, he remains a horse not to be overlooked.
