MOMENTS IN TIME

Four weeks ago, this horse ran a disappointing race over 1400m on the Sha Tin turf, settling back and making headway mid-race before chasing home in the straight with a steady pace throughout; however, it lacked any real spark and finished well beaten. Recent trials over 1800m on the turf suggest it will carry a 2lb weight increase this time. This horse has failed to win in four attempts in this class and faces a tough task against opponents with similar time figures. Given its inferior finishing kick and a lack of strong synergy between trainer and jockey, it is unlikely to be competitive here.
