9/4 (Dirt trial 1200m: 5-5-5) Ridden through varying lanes mid-race, eased along in the straight. Four weeks ago, showed a solid performance over Sha Tin turf 2000m, able to jump well and finished only 2.5 lengths behind the winner; high level of ability shown. Recent barrier trial was a light piece of work without full exertion. In its last outing, it raced over 1800m on the turf for the first time; however, the distance was unsuitable, the draw was unfavorable, and it lacked a strong finishing kick. While it settled well in a prominent position with a respectable time, the relationship between trainer and jockey seems lacking, and it does not appear to have much more to give.
