On 13/4, in a Sha Tin turf trial over 1000m (running positions: 4-6-6), the horse maintained its pace under a strong ride and finished at an average speed. In a 2/4 Sha Tin dirt trial over 1200m (running positions: 2-2-3), the horse held a good position near the front and maintained speed under the jockey's urging. Five weeks ago, in a dirt mile run, the horse showed poor form, was able to extend itself, but its finishing kick weakened in the final stages, leading to a heavy defeat. After two subsequent trials, there has been slight improvement. In a recent Happy Valley turf mile run, the time performance was not outstanding, the circumstances were unfavorable, and no strong finishing kick was shown. The partnership between jockey and trainer is not particularly standout either. Despite this, having secured two wins in previous outings and preparing seriously for this race, the horse is competitive for a placing.
