SMILING EMPEROR

Three weeks ago, the horse was very disappointing in a Sha Tin 1400m run; he came out of the gate slowly, tracked the pace, and only found form in the middle sections. He chased again in the final two sections on the straight, maintaining a steady pace throughout, with an unremarkable run. In his previous Happy Valley mile run, the conditions were slightly unfavorable, and he did not show outstanding finishing power. However, given his proven record and ideal draw in this race, he could be a dark horse contender.
