His pace was even throughout, and he managed to recover a significant amount of lost ground in the final stages. In his subsequent Happy Valley mile run, he failed to place in the last three races; his prospects were not ideal, and his draw was poor. While the jockey/trainer pairing isn't particularly harmonious, he showed the sharpest finishing kick among his rivals while running in a stalking position, and his time figures are not poor; he cannot be overlooked.
