Three weeks ago, the horse performed very poorly in a 1200m dirt trial, running in the rear with a steady pace and lackluster movement. In the subsequent 1200m Happy Valley turf run, it carries four pounds less in this race. Having won two races previously, its time performance is acceptable, and its finishing kick is second to none in the field. The jockey is familiar with this horse, and training has been active; however, the current circumstances are slightly unfavorable, and jockey/trainer coordination is not ideal. It could be a dark horse bet.
