On 16/4, in a 1200m dirt trial (running positions: 6-6-3), the start was slow, and he rode slightly behind at the 300m mark before making up ground while conserving energy. Four weeks ago, in a race alongside this trial, his performance was decent; he got out of the gate slowly and tracked near the rear with an even pace, only managing to recover some ground in the final stages. He has improved slightly in a recent trial. Draw is not ideal, and his finishing kick was somewhat lacking; the jockey and trainer partnership does not appear particularly cohesive. However, if he can maintain a forward position in this race, his previous form suggests there is potential.
