10/4 (Conghua turf trial 1200m: 3-3-5) tested in open company with an uninspiring run. On 27/3 (Conghua turf trial 1200m: 3-3-8), the horse was ridden under pressure but showed an uninspiring run. In the Happy Valley turf trial on 14/3 (Happy Valley turf trial 1200m: 8-8-8), the horse was sluggish upon jumping and reluctant to extend stride after turning. On 27/2 (Conghua turf trial 1200m: 5-6-10), he pushed hard but displayed poor form. On 6/2 (Conghua turf trial 1200m: 4-3-7), the horse was urged but responded poorly. On 15/12 (Conghua turf trial 1000m: 4-4-5), the start was slightly slow, but he maintained his run under pressure. On 17/11 (Conghua turf trial 1000m: 3-4-6), the response was average under urging and below standard. This Australian PP has a predicted rating of 58 from MA288. Following one win in a low-grade race overseas, the horse arrived in Hong Kong and tracked up in front in his last start, showing some improvement late. After arriving in Hong Kong, he completed seven trial sessions but lagged behind the pace; however, the horse is not bad. As it's his first outing here, he could be worth a look if the odds are favorable.
