Five weeks ago, this horse performed respectably in the same race. He was slow coming out of the starting gate and settled back, accelerating mid-race before pushing again in the final two sections. This time he carries an extra two pounds, and his finishing kick is slightly inferior. The partnership between jockey and trainer has not shown any outstanding synergy, but he can run in the lead group; with three wins from seventeen starts, he could be a dark horse contender.
