On 9/4, in a 1200m dirt trial (running positions: 4-3-3), the horse flashed early in the race but did not exert its full effort. Five weeks ago, in a similar race, it was very disappointing; the horse was slow to jump out and settled towards the rear with a steady pace throughout, showing mediocre form. A recent trial showed slight improvement. Having lost all five previous races, the horse is at a disadvantage, and there isn't a particularly strong rapport between the jockey and trainer. However, when running in the rear pack, its finishing kick was the sharpest in the group and it posted a respectable time for the field, making it worth keeping an eye on.
