On 16/4, in a dirt trial over 1200m (outer draw: 2-3-2), the horse tracked along the outside and closed in towards the finish. Five weeks ago, his performance over 2000m on Sha Tin turf was disappointing; he tracked the leaders in a good position but faded in the final stages, finishing heavily beaten. A subsequent trial showed slight improvement. In a later Sha Tin turf workout over 1800m, the circumstances were unfavorable, and the draw was not ideal; his finishing kick was slightly lacking, and there was no standout synergy between jockey and trainer. In this race, while he has some prior form and his timing performance is acceptable, he remains a low-chance contender.
