AMAZING GAZE
Horse analysis
On April 23rd, this horse ran a dirt trial at Conghua over 1200m (running positions: 7-7-7) showing a lack of speed, staying in the rear until closing near the finish. Four weeks ago, he ran over 1600m on Sha Tin turf and performed reasonably well. He was slow breaking, settled back, maintained a steady pace throughout the race, and managed to gain some ground at the finish. Fortunately, he wasn't heavily burdened, finishing only three lengths behind. After a recent trial run, the horse did not seem to exert himself fully. In another turf trial over 1800m, this time carrying a three-pound weight reduction, the time was acceptable. His closing speed in his group was the strongest, and the jockey is familiar with this horse. Even if the circumstances are not entirely favorable or the jockey/trainer combination isn't ideal, he can still be considered a candidate for supporting roles.
