Three weeks ago, this horse ran respectably over a Happy Valley mile. He was slow getting out of the gate and stayed towards the rear, maintaining a steady pace throughout, recovering some lost ground in the final stages. Fortunately, he wasn't too far off, finishing beaten two and a half lengths. His subsequent run over 2000m on Sha Tin turf was disadvantaged by being out of sync with the group and having an unfavorable draw, forcing him to run from the back. His finishing kick was inferior to his rivals, and the jockey-trainer combination did not look ideal; expectations are modest.
