On 27/4, in a barrier trial at Conghua over 1200m on turf (8-6-8), the horse was held back inside the gates and started slowly, settling to track the pace. Four weeks ago in the same race, it performed exceptionally well, finishing second by staying strongly and maintaining a steady pace along the way before gradually recovering ground in the final stages, only beaten one length. Having run a trial barrier, it still needs more practice. The race conditions haven't aligned favorably, but its finishing kick within the field is arguably the strongest, and its time was decent; however, no opportunity has presented itself.
