DRAGON ON SNOW

Two weeks ago, this horse ran poorly over 1600m on Sha Tin turf. He settled in a good position tracking the leaders with a steady pace throughout, showing little promise and returning beaten badly. Switching to Happy Valley turf over 1800m, this was his first attempt at the distance; the trip did not suit him, the circumstances were unfavorable, and he lacked a prominent finishing kick. The jockey and trainer combination was not ideal, making his chance low.
