NOISY BOY

Seven days ago, this horse performed well in a dirt mile; he was slow to leave the stalls and ran from the rear, maintaining a steady pace throughout. He gradually closed in during the final stages and was fortunate to not be too far behind, finishing only two and a half lengths off the winner. In his last run over 1800m on Happy Valley turf, he is carrying an extra seven pounds this time. His recent timing has not been outstanding, and his position in the race is somewhat disadvantageous. His closing speed was slightly inferior, and there isn't a strong indication of synergy between the jockey and trainer. It does not appear to be well-planned.
