7/5 (1050m dirt trial: 7-7-5) showed easy cruising speed on the straight. Following a short break, he took part in a 27/4 (800m Happy Valley turf trial: 7-7-5) which was not a true test. In the race prior to April, he performed excellently, holding his position well and progressing steadily throughout, regaining some ground near the finish to secure fourth place. Fortunately, he was not far behind. After two subsequent trial runs, he has not kept pace with the progression. His group timing is acceptable, and his finishing kick still shows some advantage. He is rated among the top contenders for this race, with the jockey having a good understanding of the horse's temperament and the trainer-jockey combination working well. However, having lost all six previous races in this sequence and facing slightly unfavorable conditions, he remains a contender for victory.
