CLOUD NINE

Eleven days ago, a dirt trial over 1200m was very disappointing; he let go and his closing run weakened, finishing last. Switching to a straight-up race, this was his first attempt over this distance, and the time performance was acceptable with no unfavorable form. He has the potential to lead, although the distance may not suit him well, his late stamina is slightly lacking, and there isn't a particularly strong bond between the jockey and trainer; he can still be considered as a contender.
