Horse analysis
On 30/4, he ran a dirt trial at Conghua over 1200m (3-2-3), tracking the pace and running smoothly. On 17/4, he ran a turf trial at Conghua over 1000m (4-4-1), holding back slightly in the early stages, then accelerating well through the middle section with a good response. Three months ago, he ran a decent race over a Happy Valley mile; though slow to leave the starting stalls and settled towards the rear, he was not far behind in the finish, beaten by three and a half lengths, showing good class. After two more trial runs, he has shown slight improvement. He ran over a Sha Tin 1400m trial, and this time he carries an extra pound. Having lost all five previous starts in this series, his prospects are somewhat challenging due to the weight and poor draw. While the partnership between jockey and trainer has not stood out, his finishing kick when tracking in the run was the sharpest among his peers, and his time performance is acceptable; however, high expectations should be avoided.
