Three weeks ago, this horse ran competitively in the same race. He did not jump out quickly and ran from off the pace, maintaining a steady rhythm throughout, steadily closing in during the final stages. Fortunately, he was not too far behind and finished beaten only two and a half lengths. His time in the group was decent, and his overall rating placed him near the top of the field in that race. Jockey-trainer coordination is acceptable, and preparation has been diligent; however, he needs to carry an extra pound this time. Having failed in the three previous starts, his form is slightly disadvantaged, and his draw was not ideal. While his finishing kick has not been outstanding, he still retains the potential to win.
