THE ALL OUT

On May 22nd, he ran a dirt trial over 1050m (running pattern: 2-2-3), with a strong drive in the closing stages, managing to finish in a decent position. On May 11th, he ran another Happy Valley turf trial over 1000m (running pattern: 6-5-5), showing consistency in pace without much fluctuation. On April 27th, he again ran a Happy Valley turf trial over 1000m (running pattern: 4-4-4), maintaining the same pace. On April 20th, he ran a Happy Valley turf trial over 800m (running pattern: 1-1-2), tracking along the rail with a light urging from the jockey, still showing stamina. On January 13th, he ran a dirt trial over 1200m (running pattern: 3-3-4), where he did not show acceleration despite being urged along. Five months ago, his run over a Happy Valley mile was disappointing; he faded in the latter stages and lost heavily. After five trial runs, there has been slight improvement. In a straight-up run, the circumstances are slightly unfavorable, and there isn't much synergy between jockey and trainer. His strength lies in his superior finishing kick within the group, having won twice previously, but hopes for a major placing remain low.
