On 15/05, in a Sha Tin turf barrier trial over 1200m (6-7-6), the horse showed sustained effort and retained energy. Seven weeks ago in an identical race, its performance was poor; the horse jumped slowly and ran towards the rear with a steady pace throughout, showing little impetus, resulting in a heavy defeat. A recent trial suggested no immediate improvement. With a record of ten defeats, the horse's prospects are challenging; its draw has not been ideal, and the jockey/trainer combination hasn't shown standout synergy. However, its closing speed in the final stages is superior to competitors in the same field and shows competitive timing; any lack of performance would not be surprising.
