Four weeks ago, the horse performed poorly in a Sha Tin 1600m race over turf, showing early speed but losing ground in the final stages and finishing badly. In a subsequent Sha Tin 1400m trial, this time the horse carries an extra pound and drew a less-than-ideal draw; his closing speed was slightly inferior, and the jockey/trainer combination was not ideal. However, he managed to make a good run and his overall form is decent enough to contend for a placing.
