Two weeks ago, this horse ran poorly over a Happy Valley mile, tracking near the rear and maintaining a steady pace along the way before gaining some ground at the finish. In his last run over 1400m on Sha Tin turf, his time was unremarkable and the circumstances were not favorable; his late burst of pace was slightly inferior, and there wasn't a strong connection between the jockey and trainer. He won this trip because he had previous form and a good draw, which must be considered.
