Ten days ago, this horse ran a very disappointing race over 1800m on Happy Valley turf; he tracked the pace from a good position and still showed some drive in the final stages, finishing only two and a half lengths behind. He reverted to Sha Tin over 1600m, carrying nine pounds less this time. The group time is acceptable, the race conditions suit him, and he has an advantageous draw, giving him the potential to make a move. Despite having seven consecutive losses in this race type, slightly less late pace compared to previous runs, and not having a particularly strong rapport between the jockey and trainer, he still has a chance to place.
