While slow to jump out, it ran off the pace with a steady gallop; in the final stages, it gradually closed in to finish second, beaten only half a length. In its most recent run over 1600m on Sha Tin turf, it carried two pounds less this time and was competitive in the group. It again ran off the pace, possessing the strongest finishing kick in its field. With a seemingly smooth partnership between jockey and trainer, even if the track position isn't ideal for this race, it should be considered a strong contender.
