In the final stages, he gradually regained ground and chased down to finish second, beaten only half a length. When stepping up to 1600m on Sha Tin turf again, this was his first attempt at the distance. This time he carries one pound less, and the distance should suit him well; his time benchmark is still acceptable. Based on the assessment, he is among the strongest contenders in this race, with a strong rapport between jockey and trainer. His condition continues to improve, but the current circumstances are not ideal, his draw is poor, and his finishing kick is slightly lacking; he remains worth noting.
