2/6 (Dirt trial 1200m: 1-1-1) showed good early speed and a strong closing kick, showing improvement and courage. Five weeks ago in the same race, his performance was not bad; he settled well near the front but showed a weakening late run, finishing second. He has improved in recent trials. The current setup does not seem ideal, and the draw is poor; his late drive was slightly inferior, and the jockey/trainer partnership isn't particularly in sync. However, given his past form and acceptable group timing, a slight dip in performance is understandable.
