Two months ago, this horse performed disappointingly in a Happy Valley 1600m race; settled well near the front but showed weakness in the final stages, resulting in a heavy defeat. After two barrier trials, no improvement was observed. Running off the training track, he tried a Happy Valley long-distance trial; in this race, carrying 13lbs extra, his finishing kick was not outstanding, and the jockey-trainer partnership did not show strong synergy. His advantage lay in being able to take a free run and drawing a favorable draw, though opportunities were limited.
