Five weeks ago, this horse ran very disappointingly over 1800m on Sha Tin turf; he was slow to leave the starting gates and tracked from off the pace with a steady overall pace, showing an unremarkable gait. In his subsequent run over longer distance on Happy Valley turf, he has lost all four races in this series. The pace of the group did not suit him, and his finishing kick was slightly lacking. However, with favorable draw placement and the jockey having a certain understanding of the horse's temperament, he should not be overlooked.
