Fourteen days ago, the horse performed excellently over a Happy Valley 1800m, tracking well and maintaining momentum in the final stages to secure second place, beaten only by two lengths. In a subsequent trial over longer distances on Happy Valley turf, his first attempt at this trip did not show outstanding time performance, and the circumstances were slightly unfavorable. The jockey and trainer combination was not ideal, but his finishing kick remains the strongest in his field, and given the jockey's familiarity with the horse, an underperformance is not surprising.
