Trial run on 23/6 (Dirt trial 1200m: ran 10th, 10th, 9th), finishing behind to warm up. Three weeks ago, he performed reasonably well in a dirt 1800m run, though his start was slow and he settled towards the rear. A recent trial showed he could not keep pace with the others. Running over Sha Tin turf 1600m this time, he is carrying an extra three pounds. Having lost all three previous races, his current prospects are unfavorable, and the draw position is not ideal. The jockey and trainer combination isn't optimal; however, when running in a sustained gallop from the rear, his finishing kick is the sharpest in the field and his time performance is competitive, making him a candidate for placing.
