Barrier trial on Sha Tin turf 1000m on 12/6 (4-6-2), gradually closing in. Three months ago, this horse performed reasonably well over 1200m on dirt, holding the rear. A trial barrier showed slight improvement. Returning to Sha Tin turf over 1200m this time with a one-pound allowance, the sectional times are still acceptable. The closing speed in the final stages is strong among its peers, and the jockey has a good understanding of the horse's temperament. Recent form is satisfactory, but having lost its last three starts and lacking a clear favorable setup, it has the flavor of an outsider/dark horse.
