June 23rd: Dirt trial over 1200m (6-8-8). Performance was average, posing no threat. September 6th: Dirt trial over 1200m (3-3-6). Traveled near the front, showed a measured run on the straight. May 26th: Turf trial over 800m (4-4-5). Ran among the leaders, with clean action. May 12th: Dirt trial over 1200m (4-4-7). Held position on the straight, primarily to test the barrier. As a debutant, the horse began training in mid-March after arriving in Hong Kong. After four barrier trials, the performance has been moderate; his strides are low and footfalls quick, but acceleration isn't strong. He would likely suit 1400m better. Given this is his first race, even with a good draw, it's prudent to observe him in one more race.
