(Dirt trial 1200m on June 25th: 4-2-7) Struggled in the bending turns, holding pace on the straight. This horse is a recent winner; five weeks ago, he performed excellently in the same race, stalking the pace and steadily closing in for the win. A trial run showed no improvement. Promoted to a higher class, his recent time was not outstanding and the conditions are slightly unfavorable; his finishing kick is somewhat lacking. However, given his past form and harmonious preparation by the trainer and jockey, he should be competitive for a placing.
