Seven weeks ago, his performance over a Happy Valley mile was disappointing; he ran in the rear, accelerated mid-race, but his closing speed weakened towards the end, resulting in a heavy defeat. A recent trial showed slight improvement. In another 1200m Happy Valley turf run, the time was below par and the position unfavorable; running in the rear while competing, his finishing burst may not match that of rivals. The jockey-trainer combination is not ideal. While he has three wins in twenty-two starts and draws favorable barriers, high expectations are unwarranted.
