CANDLELIGHT DINNER

Ran a dirt trial at 1200m on June 25th (dirt trial 1200m: 2-2-1), battling from the start to win. Six weeks ago in a race run alongside, he showed excellent form, settling well and tracking the leaders to finish second. He was close to winning, beaten only by a length. After another trial run, there has been improvement. This horse has three wins from eleven starts, with adequate times recorded, and the race prospects look favorable. He has the potential to challenge from the front; connections' chemistry is decent and he has been well-prepared. Even if his finishing kick isn't outstanding, he is certainly a horse to watch.
