17/4 (Sha Tin turf 1200m trial: 1-1-8) led alone, gave slight encouragement, but the run was not strong. Four months ago, he performed reasonably well over 1200m on Happy Valley turf, cruising to the finish; he ultimately finished only three lengths behind. A recent trial showed he couldn't keep up with the pace. Trying a short distance on Happy Valley turf again, this is his first attempt at this trip; the draw is ideal, and the jockey's style matches the horse's capabilities. The partnership between trainer and rider remains smooth, and his recent form is decent. Despite carrying an extra pound in this race, the unsuitable distance, and the time difference with other runners, he is not without potential.
