Six weeks ago in the same race, the horse performed reasonably well, showing enough acceleration but weakening in the final stages. This time, the horse must carry three pounds extra, putting him at a slight disadvantage situationally, and the jockey and trainer do not appear to have a particularly strong rapport. However, if ridden conservatively, his late closing power is the strongest in his field, he has proven ability over this trip, and should not be overlooked.
