Making his season debut, he ran in a race two months prior and showed excellent form. He didn't jump out quickly, settled back, maintained an average cruising speed throughout, and recovered significant ground in the final stages to finish second, beaten only half a length. He recently completed a trial run which was satisfactory. Having won two races previously with respectable times, his finishing kick is the strongest in his current field, making him one of the highest-rated contenders for this race. However, he has to carry two extra pounds in this contest, his circumstances are slightly disadvantageous, his draw is not ideal, and the jockey-trainer combination isn't particularly cohesive; nonetheless, he still holds good winning potential.
