RAGING BLIZZARD
Horse analysis
September 22nd (Dirt trial 1200m: 7-7-7) jumped out fastest but immediately drifted to the rear, taking wide turns and being held back on the straight. August 9th (Dirt trial 1200m: 8-8-8) started from the rear and remained static on the straight. Returning after a long layoff for his first start this season, he ran disappointingly in his last race over 1400m on Sha Tin turf three months ago. He was slow to start, settled back, responded in the middle stages, and chased down the straight for two sections. His pace was steady throughout, but his run was unremarkable. He has completed two more trials, but the experience is still lacking. In a straight-line race trial, his time was decent within the group; he tends to settle back, but possesses the strongest finishing kick in his group. If he manages his final strides well, even if carrying an extra pound this time, the circumstances are not ideal, and his draw is poor, he can still be considered a supporting runner.
