On 25/8, he won a dirt trial over 1050m (running positions: 2-2-1) with a powerful closing burst. This is his first start of the season; three months ago, in a race run concurrently, he was very disappointing. He jumped slowly, stayed towards the rear throughout with an even pace, showed a mediocre run, and finished badly. A recent trial has shown improvement. Drawing an unfavorable draw, his finishing kick was slightly lacking, and the jockey-trainer combination wasn't ideal. His early speed is sufficient to challenge for position, and having won twice previously, he could contend for a placing.
