Four weeks ago, this horse ran a disappointing race over a Happy Valley mile, running in the rear with a weakening finish. Now competing on dirt over a mile for the first time, this horse managed to hold a favorable forward position. The partnership with the jockey seems adequate, but given the extra 21 pounds to carry and the sectional time difference, it remains a dark horse contender.
