Although slow to leave the stalls and ran from the rear, he maintained a steady pace throughout, gradually regaining ground in the final stages to finish second. Fortunately, the margin was not large, beaten only by two lengths. This horse has proven his ability in this class and is positioned well within the same field; he needs to run from the back, possessing the strongest closing kick in his group. The partnership between horse and jockey, along with the training plan, appears harmonious; even if the odds don't favor him, he will still be entered primarily as a contender/place candidate.
