MASSIVE STAR was a little slow to begin and then became unbalanced after being bumped by FULL BLESSINGS which on jumping shifted out. After this, MASSIVE STAR was taken across behind runners and took time to muster speed. TATTENHALL DELIGHT was slow to begin, then after the 1000 Metres proved difficult to settle after being ridden along to make up ground. In the middle stages, FUJIAN PRINCE hung out. For a considerable distance after straightening, SPEED FIGHTER had difficulty obtaining clear running. Near the 300 Metres, HONEST TREASURE, which was giving ground, was steadied away from the heels of TOUT VA BIEN which was carried out by TREASURABLE which in turn was carried out by SPLENDID SAILS which was carried wider by TATTENHALL DELIGHT which got its head on the side and shifted ground. For some distance after the 200 Metres, MASSIVE STAR, which was closing the race off strongly, had difficulty obtaining clear running, then near the 100 Metres was steadied and shifted out to avoid the heels of JADE DANCER which was giving ground. Throughout the race, FULL BLESSINGS travelled wide and without cover. HONEST TREASURE was sent for an official veterinary inspection. After the race, HONEST TREASURE was examined by the Veterinary Officer. He said an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea. Before being allowed to race again, HONEST TREASURE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. TOUT VA BIEN, SPEED FIGHTER and TATTENHALL DELIGHT were sent for sampling.
